Web3 training to support women entrepreneurs in quake zone

The Binance Women in Technology Academy, which was founded in collaboration with Binance and the Women in Technology Association (Wtech) to promote equal opportunities in technology and financial literacy among women, has relocated its courses to Hatay, the southern province devastated by the Feb.

Extreme downpours in Hatay cause floods, damage fields

Torrential rains have wreaked havoc in the country's southeastern region as the Asi River bursts its banks in the province of Hatay, causing floods and damaging agricultural fields.

The intense rain in the evening hours of Jan. 16 led the Asi River to overflow, leaving many agricultural lands, especially in Hatay's Antakya district, flooded.

6 months after quakes, efforts ongoing to rebuild cities

It's been exactly six months since the devastating earthquakes jolted Türkiye's south, bringing massive destruction, loss of life and trauma to those left behind, as the country continues intensive infrastructure and construction works to rebuild the cities and bring relief to survivors and heal their wounds.

Quake-hit women produce clothes in container workshops

Women trainees in the quake-hit Hatay have presented clothes they produced for the Ramadan feast to other quake survivors.

The trainees, who have also experienced the quakes themselves, presented 750 sets of children's clothes, 100 sets of women's clothes and 250 candy bags they produced in the workshops established by the Şule Yüksel Şenler Foundation to other quake survivors.
