Turkish writer Metin Hara has confirmed that he is in a romantic relationship with Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima, best known as a Victoria's Secret angel.

Hara and Lima were spotted while passionately kissing in Atatürk International Airport in Istanbul by reporters on July 10.

Authorities have determined that the phone number of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) attacker who killed 39 people in an Istanbul nightclub on Jan. 1 was registered in the cellphone of another ISIL suspect, who appeared for in a trial the first time in the Mediterranean province of Antalya on July 10.

Three Russian tourists were caught after pretending to be guests at a four-star hotel in the southern Turkish resort province of Antalya on July 5.

A hotel manager from the Mediterranean province of Antalya has slammed those tourists who steal random items from hotels, referring specifically to a number of bizarre recent incidents.

Seyfi Öksüz, the manager of a five-star resort, described via his social media account how a number of tourists opt to steal random items from the hotel, including toilet paper and cutlery.

The Forestry and Water Affairs Ministry has released millions of bugs into forests in a bid to prevent other harmful insects from damaging trees. 

Different species of bugs were developed in a total of 51 laboratories formed by the ministry, before around 13 million "terminator bugs" were released into nature, daily Habertürk reported on June 30.

The mothers have been selling traditional "sarma" vine leaves on Facebook and receiving support from all over the country, daily Habertürk reported on June 29. 

A court in the southern province of Antalya on June 28 sentenced a police officer to four years and two months in prison for beating a man with sticks and truncheons during Turkey's Gezi Park protests in 2013.
