Türkiye's Supreme Election Council (YSK) has announced that it has rejected an application logged by the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) to annul the mayoral election in the southern city of Hatay.

Turkey's eastern and western provinces have been hit by heavy precipitation and adverse weather conditions, as meteorologists have announced a 'yellow alert' for 27 out of all 81 provinces until Nov. 29.

Turkish forces on Nov. 1 held some 164 irregular migrants in provinces in the country's east, along with rescuing 101 asylum seekers from sea after an illegal pushback by Greece, security sources said.
