Number of endangered bald ibis increases
The number of critically endangered bald ibis, seen only in the Nile Valley and in the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa, has increased from 41 to 333 thanks to protection efforts carried out since 2001.

Endangered bald ibis birds released into wild

Remains from Süleyman ?ah tomb placed temporarily in southeastern Turkey
The symbolic sarcophagi of Süleyman ?ah and his two guards was placed in a temporary tomb in the southeastern province of ?anlurfa with a ceremony on Feb. 23, as construction continues in Syria?s Ashme region, where the artifacts will be transferred permanently.
