Four FETÖ suspects caught attempting to swim to Greece

Four FETÖ suspects trying to swim to the Greek islands have been caught by the coast guard teams in the Aegean province of Muğla's Bodrum district.

After the teams noticed, during the night patrol off Bodrum, that there were four suspects swimming in diving suits who were later found to be trying to go to the Greek islands illegally, were taken to the boat by the teams.

British model wounded in car crash in Bodrum

British model and reality star Yazmin Oukhellou has been gravely wounded and her boyfriend, Jake Robert Mclean, lost his life in a car crash in the southwestern province of Muğla's Bodrum district.

According to police reports, the car Mclean was driving fell into a roadside ditch after he lost control of the vehicle in the world renowned Aegean tourism hub.

At least 90 migrants rescued in Aegean Sea

A total of 90 migrants have been rescued by Turkish authorities in the Aegean Sea, according to a statement.

Turkey's Coast Guard Command said yesterday that it rescued a total of 90 migrants off Muğla and Balıkesir provinces.

The statement noted that 20 of the migrants were rescued off Bodrum district in Muğla, while 25 were helped off the coast of Marmaris district.

Coast Guard rescues 100 irregular migrants at sea

The Turkish Coast Guard has rescued nearly 100 irregular migrants in the Aegean Sea over the weekend.

Acting on the information that a group of irregular migrants were sailing in a boat off the coast of Karaada in the Çeşme district of the western province of İzmir, the Coast Guard launched an operation.

The team rescued 29 irregular migrants.
