Major op nets 98 PKK suspects across 18 provinces
The Interior Ministry has announced the apprehension of 98 individuals over their alleged ties to the PKK in an effort spanning 18 provinces.
One of the biggest busts occurred in the southeastern city of Mardin, where 17 suspects were detained for disseminating PKK propaganda through their social media accounts.

Probe launched into death of 5-year-old following dental operation
An investigation has been launched into allegations of negligence at a dental clinic in the northwestern province of Bursa after a 5-year-old child, who had a tooth extracted, tragically lost their life shortly afterward.
Elena and Aydın Sönmez brought their only child Deniz Sönmez to a private dental clinic on Nov. 10 because of a toothache complaint.
Students join event marking Atatürk’s legacy

Red deer relocated to Salda Lake area in conservation effort

Teams deployed to Edirne border over fire in Bulgaria
A forest fire that erupted near the Türkiye-Bulgaria border has been largely brought under control, as Turkish authorities have positioned firefighting vehicles and teams at the Edirne border in case the flames spread to the country.
The forest fire, which broke out late on Sept. 2 in the eastern part of Bulgaria, advanced towards the Edirne border with the effect the strong wind.
13-year-old Turkish pianist wins competition in Germany
A 13-year-old Turkish student has won the International Pianele Piano Competition in Germany, becoming the youngest pianist ever to achieve this feat.
Arya Su Gülenç from the northwestern province of Bursa was one of the four winners of the competition held in Fulda, Germany, on Aug. 6, as she was hailed as a "Wonder Child" in the German press.
