Debbie Reynolds, the indefatigable star of Singin’ in the Rain, who bounced back time and again on the strength of a career that spanned the golden age of the Hollywood musical to the new golden age of TV, died on Dec. 28 at the age of 84 in Los Angeles.

Turkey condemns US court's parole for murderer of envoy
The Turkish Foreign Ministry has condemned the parole of a convict in the U.S who murdered a Turkish diplomat in the 1980s.
A court in Los Angeles accepted on Dec. 14 a defense attorney's demand for the conditional release of the Armenian-origin convict, Hampig Sassounian, who killed Turkish Consul General Kemal Arikan in Los Angeles on Jan. 28, 1982.

One Billion Yahoo Accounts Hacked in 2013
BELGRADE - A data breach in August 2013 exposed information held in more than 1 billion Yahoo user accounts, the company said Wednesday.
The hacking incident is separate from an intrusion Yahoo reported in September, when the company disclosed 500 million user accounts were exposed in 2014.
