A German couple who kicked off a six-month-long motorcycle journey around the world has passed by the eastern province of Mardin following their visit to various other cities in Türkiye.
Susi and Jens Radeliald, a German couple with two children, went on a motorcycle tour around the world about six months ago.

Road conditions not behind recent traffic accidents: Minister
Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu has said that the two separate road accidents on Aug. 20 that killed at least 35 people and injured dozens were not caused by road defects, stating that investigations are ongoing.

10 soldiers killed in PKK attacks in Turkey's southeast
At least 10 Turkish soldiers were killed and seven others were wounded on Sept. 26 in two separate attacks by the militants of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the country's southeast.
Six soldiers were killed in an atack on a checkpoint in Şırnak, while four others were killed in a roadside bomb attack in Mardin's Derik district.
Turkey provides 1.5 million ID cards for Syrian refugees
Turkey has provided some 1.5 million Syrian refugees with biometric IDs, according to data provided by the Interior Ministry and the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmu? had earlier said that some 1.2 million Syrians, fleeing the civil war in their homeland, have been registered.
