Sunak denies having ‘hissy fit’ over Parthenon Sculptures

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has denied having a "hissy fit" over his Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis' comments on the Parthenon Sculptures.

Speaking to journalists on the plane to the UN's 28th UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai, Sunak also said that the marbles, as they were "acquired legally at the time," cannot be returned to Greece "as a matter of law."

Vucic: Serbia to make new strategy for fighting climate change

DUBAI - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday Serbia had decided to prepare a new strategy to help the fight against climate change.

Speaking at the COP28 summit in Dubai, Vucic said Serbia was ready to make a major contribution to that effort.

He said climate change was the "greatest challenge of our time."

Vucic: Kurti wants recognition in exchange for allowing Kosovo-Metohija Serbs to vote

DUBAI - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Friday in Dubai Pristina's PM Albin Kurti would not allow Kosovo-Metohija Serbs to vote in the December 17 Serbian elections because he wanted the so-called Kosovo to be recognised by Serbia in exchange for giving the Serbs the right they were entitled to.

Vučić: "They want us to recognize Kosovo so that Serbs can go to elections in Kosovo"

"We had important meetings. I spoke with Charles Michel and with the presidents of Hungary, Poland, Belarus, as well as with people from the IMF," Vui said, adding that all the conversations were of special importance for Serbia.
"In order to solve all the problems, there must be order in international relations," he added.

Mitsotakis affirms commitment to UK relations amid Parthenon Sculptures dispute

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Friday expressed his commitment to maintaining good relations with Britain, despite the abrupt cancellation of his scheduled London meeting with UK counterpart Rishi Sunak earlier this week amid a dispute over the Parthenon Sculptures.
