Dubai – Slovenia will be showcased as a green and smart country at Expo 2020 Dubai, which opens its doors to exhibitors and visitors on Friday. Slovenia’s pavilion will paint the country as a green oasis in Europe under the slogan Slovenia – Green Smart Experience.

CEC Refused Registration for Parliamentary Elections of Former Gambling Boss Bozhkov
The Central Election Commission has refused to register the party of Dubai-based businessman with Vasil Bozhkov "Bulgarian Summer" for the November 14th parliamentary elections. Bozhkov is investigated and has multiple charges by the Bulgarian prosecution.
The decision was made on September 29 and is subject to appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court within three days.
Replica of Most Famous Bulgarian Gold Treasure Confiscated in Dubai
On September 27, customs officers at Dubai airport detained and questioned members of the Bulgarian delegation for Expo 2021, who were carrying a replica of the Panagyurishte Gold Treasure in their hand luggage. It was to adorn the Bulgarian pavilion.

Slovenia issuing its own NFTs for Expo showcase
Dubai – Slovenia will become the world’s first country to issue its own non-fungible tokens (NFT) to promote the achievements of its businesses and its tourism destinations. The tokens will be gifted to visitors to Slovenia’s pavilion at the Expo show in Dubai opening on 1 October.

Turkish Cyprus wishes to be world’s trade center
It is the greatest desire of Turkish Cypriots to make the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) one of the most important trade centers in the world, its prime minister said on Sept. 22.
Ersan Saner told Anadolu Agency that his government keeps relations with Turkey at the highest level and it is satisfied with the economic and cooperation work between the two countries.

Romania's Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai (October 1 - March 31, 2022) was built in the spirit of maximum simplicity, "a purity that is inspired by Brancusi's legacy", and the materials used will be recycled at the end of the exhibition, Adrian Soare, the pavilion's architect, said on Monday. The concept is "New Nature", transposed into design.
