Romania Charges Andrew Tate with Human Trafficking and Rape
The Romanian organised crime prosecutors on Tuesday charged brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate with organising a criminal group, aggravated human trafficking, aggravated rape, unlawful access to a computer system, tampering with the integrity of computer data and instigating battery or other violence.
Coronavirus death toll at 1,279
Another three persons infected with the novel coronavirus have died, the number of deceased reaching 1,279, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed on Tuesday.

GCS: 277 persons infected with novel coronavirus
A number of 277 persons have tested positive for with the novel coronavirus so far, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed on Thursday. Of them, 25 were declared cured and discharged, 16 in Timisoara, 8 in Bucharest, one in Iasi.

Capital general mayor launches for public debate introduction of "Oxygen" vignette
General Mayor of Bucharest Gabriela Firea announced on Wednesday the launch for public debate of a project that provides for the purchase of a vignette, dubbed "Oxygen", for all cars entering the Capital, but are not registered in Bucharest or Ilfov county (the county surrounding the city, ed.n.).
HeathMin Pintea: Non-compliant biocides have been used in over 30 hospitals

DIICOT prosecutors conduct searches in embezzlement case involving SIF Banat-Crisana and SIF Muntenia
The DIICOT (Directorate for Investigating Organised Crime and Terrorism) prosecutors on Monday conducted 31 home searches in Ilfov and Arad counties and in Bucharest municipality, in an action aimed at dismantling an organised criminal ring that was seeking to embezzle large sums of money from SIF Banat-Crisana and SIF Muntenia SA Bucharest.
