Erdoğan hands over houses to quake victims as anniversary nears
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has marked the approaching first anniversary of devastating earthquakes by attending the handover ceremonies of new homes built for those left homeless in the affected regions.
The president continued his visits on Feb. 4 in Gaziantep. In a ceremony held in the Islahiye district, Erdoğan oversaw the delivery of 10,090 houses to their rightful owners.
Saudi princess pays visit to quake-hit city
Saudi Arabian princess and United Nations Habitat Goodwill Ambassador Lamia Bint Majid Al Saud has traveled to the southeastern province of Gaziantep's earthquake stricken Nurdağı district.
Princess Al Saud, who came to the quake-hit city for a series of visits, first visited Gaziantep Governor's Office.

The world's aid mobilization for Türkiye was due to fact that the country extended a helping hand in many natural disasters, U.S. Ambassador to Ankara Jeff Flake has stated, saying "The world is repaying its debt to Türkiye."

Mosaics in house move to Zeugma Museum
Byzantine-era mosaics found on the floor of a house during illegal excavations in the southeastern province of Gaziantep have been divided into 98 pieces after two years of work and started being moved to the Zeugma Mosaic Museum.
