Ancient Soli Pompeiopolis to become archaeopark

Archaeologists in southern Turkey are working to turn the ancient city of Soli Pompeiopolis into an open-air museum, or an archaeopark, the head of excavations at the site has said.

"Our aim is to establish the connection between the areas we're excavating and turn this place into an archaeopark," archeologist Remzi Yağcı said at the dig site in the province of Mersin.

Turkey's Health Ministry has launched a probe following allegations by an expert that a baby was mistakenly given a COVID-19 vaccine.

The issue became a hotly debated matter after a professor earlier suggested that at some community health centers' coronavirus jabs are being administered to babies.

Homes built for İzmir quake victims to be delivered soon

Homes being developed for the victims of the devastating earthquake that took place in October last year in the western province of İzmir will start to be delivered to their owners at the end of next month.

The government launched the large-scale housing project for those whose homes were totally destroyed or heavily damaged in the tremor.
