Travel writers pick ‘best 10 bays of blue voyage’

Turkish travel writers have listed the most 10 beautiful coves one can visit during a blue voyage in the Aegean and the Mediterranean Seas, with the Cove of Bedri Rahmi topping the list.

The cove in the southwestern province of Muğla's Göcek neighborhood is named after famous Turkish poet, writer, and painter Bedri Rahmi Eyüpoğlu, who died in 1975 at the age of 64.

Photos of Ottoman Empire’s first radiotelegraph station come to light

Photographs showing the original state of the Radiotelegraph Station, which was built in the ancient city of Patara in 1906 to provide communication between the Derne Port of Libya under the Ottoman rule and the Patara Port, have come to light.

The photos were published in the magazine called Servet-i Fünun in March 1906.

‘Rock singer’ ex-Imam takes his case to European court

Ahmet Muhsin Tüzer, who once made headlines in local media as "rock singer" imam, has applied to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to get his job back.

While serving as an imam in the Mediterranean province of Antalya's Kaş district, Tüzer formed a band named "FiRock" with famous rock guitarist Doğan Sakin and released a single in 2013.
