Rainfall jams Istanbul traffic, density at 71 pct
Due to the heavy rainfall that started in the morning hours of May 17 and accidents that have occurred at some points of the city, traffic was jammed once again in Istanbul.
Citizens leaving their homes to go to work and school were stuck in heavy traffic. The traffic congestion occurred in both directions on Kadıköy D-100 Highway.

One suspect arrested over unsolved death of Gabonese student
A suspect identified as having links to the death of a Gabonese student at Karabük University has been arrested after he was detained and released three times in a week.
The lifeless body of Jeannah Danys Dinabongho Ibouanga, 17, whom her friends called "Dina" for short, was found on March 26 in Filyos Stream in the northern province of Karabük.

In a turn of events, a voicemail that Danys Dinabongho Ibouanga, a Gabonese woman whose lifeless body was found in the northern province of Karabük, sent to her mother a day before her disappearance saying "people might kill her" has been revealed, raising suspicions over the possibility of murder.
