"Serbia won't sit quietly as Greater Albania is created"

BELGRADE -- Serbian Justice Minister Nikola Selakovic has said that the country "cannot and will not" react quietly to the creation of a Greater Albania.

He remarked that "they need not hide it under any other guise, because (Greater Albania) is obviously what this is about," and "called on the EU to oppose it."

Serbia marks another anniversary of NATO attacks

BELGRADE -- Serbia is on Tuesday marking the 16th anniversary since the beginning of NATO's air war against the country, then a part of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

The attacks lasted for 11 weeks and resulted in the deaths of between 1,200 and 4,000 people, according to different sources.

Kosovo's Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri, in her latest report on the implementation of the 2013 Brussels Agreement on the normalization of relations with Serbia, has accused Belgrade of delaying implementation of the terms.

"The current visa regime toward Kosovo is cynical injustice, which should come to and sooner than later, because it does not only offend the dignity of Kosovo's people but also the dignity of Europe," Rama said on Monday.

"Keeping Kosovo under the current visa regime is a shame for Europe," he added.

"Unification" of Kosovo and Albania "through EU"

TIRANA/PRISTINA -- Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has said that Albania and Kosovo "united the nation through the European Union."

BELGRADE - Marko Djuric, head of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija, stated on Monday that people in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) should not be misguided that Serbia will recognize the independence of its southern province.

Pristina "daydreams about Serbia's recognition"

BELGRADE -- Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric says that "people should not be fed the illusion about Serbia's recognition of Kosovo."

However, he added, that does not mean that residents in Kosovo and Metohija, both Serbs and Albanians, "should not live together, and live better."

Local mayors in the divided town of Mitrovica are to appeal to the Koosvo government to intervene after the four-year dispute over land rights in Kroi i Vitakut, an Albanian-majority neighbourhood in a Serb-dominated area of the municipality, boiled over again in recent weeks.
