Basketball Euroleague punishes Red Star, Galatasaray
BELGRADE - A disciplinary judge of the basketball Euroleague has punished Red Star Belgrade and Galatasaray over crowd trouble associated with their Euroleague Round 6 Group D encounter in Istanbul, when Marko Ivkovic, a 25-year-old supporter of the Serbian club, was killed before the game.

PRISTINA - Members of the Assembly of Kosovo have elected the new government in Pristina on Tuesday, with Isa Mustafa, leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (DLK), as prime minister and three seats for members from the Srpska list.
Zubin Potok Mayor in House Arrest
Vulovic, wanted by Kosovo police since last July, appeared before an EU prosecutor on Monday and was put under 30 days house arrest.
Dragana Nikolic-Solomon, from the EU rule-of-law mission, EULEX, told BIRN that Vulovic appeared voluntarily before the public prosecutor in the northern half of the divided town of Mitrovica.

Kosovo Wins Right to Compete in Olympics
Athletes from Kosovo are celebrating the IOC decision to grant Kosovo full membership, which means they will be fielding their own national team for the Brazil Olympics.
The decision was reached at the 127th session of the IOC held in Monaco and follows an earlier decision in October by the IOC to grant Kosovo provisional recognition.
