The Sakıp Sabancı Mardin City Museum - Dilek Sabancı Gallery in the southeastern province of Mardin, restored by the Sabancı Foundation upon the late businessman Sakıp Sabancı's will and transformed into a museum and art gallery, is hosting the exhibition "The Russian Avant-garde. Dreaming the Future Through Art and Design."
Two young women, 14-year-old Ela Demiral from Istanbul and 17-year-old Olivia Rose Auffarth from the U.S. state of New York, have started a project called "Goal to Future" to improve women's football in Turkey.
"We want to encourage girls to play football," Demiral told Demirören News Agency on May 12.
A couple from Istanbul have visited 40 provinces in six months with their caravan after their theatre hall was closed due to the pandemic measures taken by the government.
"We are from Istanbul, and we were going to visit a province only for a week, and then return back to Istanbul. But then we decided to continue our trip," said İbrahim Yakut, a 39-year-old theatre artist.
