A 30-year-old man is in a coma after an accident on the Ring Road in Sofia.

The accident occurred shortly after midnight, involving a vehicle driven by the victim and an EMS-Montana ambulance.

The seriously injured driver of the car was admitted to the Military Medical Academy.

Several heavy-duty trucks are blocked on the Blagoevgrad-Bansko road in the area of the "Predel" pass. The passage is extremely difficult despite the efforts of the teams to clear the heavy snow.

The traffic jam is serious in the Razlog-Bansko direction, where the trucks are stuck, BNR reported.

The drivers, who tomorrow have to travel in Western and Southern Bulgaria, should go on the road with cars prepared for winter conditions. A drop in temperatures and snowfall is expected.

The stormy south wind blew away part of the roof of the Council of Ministers, while the presentation of the report on the work done by the caretaker government of Galab Donev was underway in the building, "24 Chasa" reports.

A code red warning is in effect this morning due to strong winds in the Vratsa and Montana regions. According to data from the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, wind gusts reach 30-35 meters per second.

In several places in Sofia, there are fallen branches of trees due to the strong wind. This was announced by the Ministry of the Interior for the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR).

A skeleton of a Gorgosaurus dinosaur is going up for auction for the first time and is expected to fetch between $5 million and $8 million, Sotheby's said on July 5.
