No mercy on those trying to divide Türkiye: Erdoğan

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has vowed to show no mercy against those who are trying to divide Türkiye and foil all sorts of plots on the 951st anniversary of the Malazgirt Victory.

"We will show no mercy on anyone who is trying to divide our country and overthrow our state," Erdoğan said during the ceremonies in the eastern province of Muş's Malazgirt district on Aug. 26.

15 PKK militants 'neutralized' across Turkey: Interior Ministry

The Interior Ministry has stated that a total of 15 outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants were "neutralized" during operations across the country on Sept. 6.

The authorities use the word "neutralized" to refer to militants who have been either killed, wounded or captured.

Erdoğan marks Turks' historic entry to Anatolia

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has marked the 946th anniversary of the Battle of Malazgirt, the victory of Seljuk Sultan Alparslan against the Byzantine Empire on Aug. 26, 1071, in the Malazgirt district of the eastern province of Muş. 

Erdoğan gave a speech to mark the battle, which opened Anatolia to Turks, in the area that also features the 1071 Victory Monument.
