Museum card sales hit 2.1 mln in 2023
The sales of museum cards, known as MüzeKart, reached 2.1 million in the first seven months of 2023, the Culture and Tourism Ministry has announced.
According to the statement made by the ministry, there was a record increase in MüzeKart sales, the price of which was recently fixed to 60 Turkish Liras.

Türkiye working to diversify renewable energy resources
The Agriculture and Forestry Ministry is working on projects aimed at utilizing geothermal energy resources, particularly in urban agriculture, while officials are looking into ways to boost biomass production in rural areas.
The ministry favors the specialized greenhouse-organized industrial zones based on geothermal heating (TDİOSB) as the more appropriate model.

Some 477,757 people have visited Cappadocia, the historical region in Central Anatolia famous for its fairy chimneys, in May this year, a number nearly eight times higher than the same month the previous year, the Governor's Office of the province of Nevşehir has announced.
"In May 2021, the number of the visitors was 61,634," said the office in a statement on June 7.

Turkey's picturesque Cappadocia region drew nearly two million tourists in the first 10 months of 2021, according to official figures.
A total of 1.91 million domestic and international visitors came to explore the charming touristic hub in the central Nevşehir province, famed for its distinctive fairy chimneys, underground cities, cave hotels and hot air balloon rides.

According to authorities in the central Nevşehir province, 61,634 people visited 17 top tourist sites in Cappadocia.
