BELGRADE - Rudy Giuliani, the former New York mayor who is said to be one of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's leading candidates to become secretary of state, has had past dealings with foreign leaders and groups from Serbia to Russia and Iran that could draw scrutiny if he is nominated, RFE/RL reports.

Turkey issues travel warning to US amid Trump protests

The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a travel warning for the United States Nov. 12 amid ongoing demonstrations to protest the country's newly elected president, Donald Trump.

In a statement, the ministry called on Turkish nationals to be cautious with regards to the protests against Trump's victory declared in the early hours of Nov. 9.

New York police seek 28-year-old man in connection with bombing

New York authorities said Sept. 19 that they are seeking a 28-year-old man in connection with a bombing in the city over the weekend that injured 29 people.

Police and the FBI released a photo of Ahmad Khan Rahami, a naturalized U.S. citizen of Afghan origin, saying he was "wanted" for questioning in the explosion on the night of Sept. 17 in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York.  

'Intentional' Blast Leaves 29 Injured in New York, 2nd Device Found

An explosion has left twenty-nine people hurt, none of them critically, but one seriously, New York officials say.

A second device has been found by police in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, where the incident took place, according to CNN.

Mayor Bill de Blasio is quoted as saying no known terror link has been established.
