Bulgarian Ship with Scrap was Detained in Salerno on the way to Sardinia
The Seven Star cargo ship was detained on its arrival in Salerno, Italy. The ship, built in 1982, has a Bulgarian flag and its manager / owner according to the Equasis global database, and the Russian Shipping Register is Low Sea Shipping Management Co. headquartered in Varna, the Maritime Newsletter reported, quoted by Mediapool on Sunday.

Heavy rain, floods hit Italy, 5 killed in Tuscany
Torrential rain in Italy triggered flooding that killed at least five people on Sept. 10 in the Tuscan port town of Livorno, including four family members trapped by rising water in their basement.
The Italian news agency ANSA said the bodies of a 4-year-old boy, his parents and grandfather were found in the flooded basement of their two-family home.

Tito's Name Still Adorns Streets Across Ex-Yugoslavia
A new Google map (see above) developed by Italian researcher Giorgio Comai shows that there are still 276 squares, streets and waterfronts named after former Yugoslav President Josip Broz Tito.
The map, created using data from Google from August 2017, shows that more than half of them are located in Serbia - 176 squares, streets and waterfronts named after Tito.

Archaeologists recently discovered some new surprising information about the ancient city of Knossos located on the Greek island of Crete.
According to recently fieldwork, during the early Iron Age (1100 to 600 BC), the city was rich in imports and was about three times larger than what was believed from earlier excavations.
