Oil output at Gabar to rise to 40,000 barrels soon: Minister
The daily oil production from the Gabar field in Türkiye's southeast will increase from the current 37,000 barrels to 40,000 barrels at the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said.
Total oil reserves in the Gabar region in the Şırnak province is 1 billion barrels, he said at a public gathering in Istanbul.
Turkish intel ‘neutralizes’ PKK ringleader
The Turkish intelligence agency MİT has "neutralized" Fatma Sakana, a so-called PKK ringleader, in an operation in Syria's north.
Sakana, one of the perpetrators of the PKK attack in the southeastern province of Şırnak that killed 10 Turkish soldiers on Sept. 2, 2012, was "neutralized" during an operation.

Heavy rains, storm to grip Türkiye
With torrential rains accompanied by storms lashing provinces across Türkiye, the Turkish State Meteorological Service has issued an "orange alert" for two and a "yellow alert" for 10 out of all the country's 81 provinces, warning residents to exercise caution against possible dangerous situations.
