The district of Kardzhali in southern Bulgaria, has a higher migration population growth than Sofia. This is what a study by the Institute for Market Economics shows. This type of growth reflects on migration of people - new settlements minus people who left.
Sofia is Opening More Parks for Visitors after the Quarantine
By order of Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova, the Vrana Park-Museum and the Military Academy Park in Bulgaria's capital open for visitors today. The Western Gate of Serdica archaeological park, as well as the garden near the Alexander Battenberg Mausoleum are also opening today.

Gas Leak? Traffic in Downtown Sofia is Blocked
The area around Sofia Theatre in the capital is closed off because of the strong smell of gas. At this stage, emergency teams are still unable to understand if there is a leak and where it comes from.
Bus lines 11, 404 and 213 will be with temporarily changed route, the Sofia Municipality reported.

This was announced by Mayor of Pernik, Stanislav Vladimirov, during the meeting of the Standing Committee on Engineering Infrastructure and Energy Planning in the Sofia Municipality on January 20.
