The wildfire has spread near the village of Dripchevo and the villages surrounding the town of Harmanli, Darik radio informs.
Wildfire in Southwestern Bulgaria Tamed, No Danger to Spread
The forest fire in the municipality of Strumyani in southwestern Bulgaria has been localised and there is no danger of it spreading further.
The fire entered into Bulgarian territory on Friday afternoon through the border with Macedonia and affected a 150-year-old coniferous forest.
