No winner of record Powerball jackpot, next draw put at $1.3 billion
No one won Jan. 9's record jackpot of nearly $950 million in the multi-state Powerball lottery, driving the haul for a winning ticket in the next draw to $1.3 billion, lottery officials said.
Millions of Americans anxiously checked their tickets for the winning combination of six numbers - 32, 16, 19, 57, 34 with a Powerball number of 13.
Israeli firms in talks to buy natural gas from Leviathan
The partners in Israel's offshore Leviathan natural gas site said on Jan. 7 they were in talks to supply gas to a number of Israeli companies.
In a statement to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, units of Delek Group said the firms were private electricity producers and industrial companies but did not offer further details.

A rare, 2,000-year-old New Testament manuscript has been discovered on eBay by Geoffrey Smith, a scholar of early Christianity at the University of Texas, and the starting bid for the manuscript was at just $99.
“I thought, ‘This can’t be allowed to sell on eBay. It will just disappear into a private collection.”, Mr. Smith said.
