Turkish Airlines CEO says US to lift laptop ban on July 5

Turkish Airlines chief executive Bilal Ekşi has said he expected the ban on large electronic devices from the cabin of U.S.-bound flights from certain countries to be lifted on July 5.

"We expect the electronic device ban applied to American flights to be lifted on Wednesday July 5," Ekşi said on Twitter late on July 3 without giving further detail.

US travel ban takes effect, with lawyers on hand just in case

Lawyers and rights activists took up positions at major US airports as a weakened version of President Donald Trump's travel ban took effect late on June 29.

But there were no signs of the chaos that erupted when the first version of the restriction, derided as discriminatory against Muslims, was abruptly imposed back in January.

Washington store owner sentenced to 8 years for killing robber! (VIDEO)

A convenience store owner from Spanaway, Washington has been sentenced to 8 years in prison after shooting a thug who stole from his establishment.

According to Q13 Fox, surveillance footage from the March 25, 2016 incident shows 31-year-old Min Sik Kim asking a group of men loitering outside his store to leave.
