Hittite history to open to the world with digital library
The Hittite tablets, consisting of thousands of years of historical documents, will be opened to the world with a digital library, which is currently under construction.
Within the scope of the project, a first in the world, 1,954 Hittite tablets are being deciphered using artificial intelligence.

Ancient jug returned to Turkey
A golden spouted jug, which dates back to 4,250 years and belongs to the period of Hattians, one of the ancient civilizations of Anatolia, has been returned to Turkey and now adorns the shelves of the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations in Ankara.
A welcoming ceremony was held on Oct. 26 at the museum to mark the return of the ancient work.

German archaeologist tracing Anatolian civilizations
On behalf of the German Archaeology Institute, Professor Aa has been carrying out the archaeological excavations in the Boğazkale district of Çorum, which was home to the Hittite capital Hattusa.

Unique ancient drinking bowls on display at Boğazkale Museum
Considered a "unique" work by the archaeology world, a 3,600-year-old fist-shaped drinking bowl is one of the three ancient drinking bowls discovered over the years in the archaeological excavations in Hattusha, the capital of the Hittite Civilization.

Struggle against weed continues in Alacahöyük
The 2021 season excavations at the Alacahöyük ancient site, where the first archaeological excavations of the Turkish Republic were carried out, will be resumed after the completion of the weed control that has been continuing since July 3.

Hittite seal delivered to museum
The Hittite seal, which has been found by a farmer while working in his field in the Ortaköy district of the Central Anatolian province of Çorum and is considered to be about 3,500 years old, has been added to the Çorum Museum collection with the initiatives of Çorum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi and Ortaköy Mayor Taner İspir.

Excavation team adopts stray dog, finds home for another
