Hooligans send five PAOK fans to hospital, burn a van ahead of final
Five PAOK supporters were taken to hospital injured and their van got burnt as they were attacked by some 100 AEK fans on their way to the Greek Cup final at the Olympic Stadium of Athens on Saturday afternoon.
Sports Digest: PAOK returns to the top of the Super League
SOCCER: PAOK climbed back to the top of the Super League table on Monday beating Larissa 3-0, goals coming from Yevhen Shakhov, Fernando Varela and Aleksandar Prijovic. PAOK is on 49 points, two ahead of AEK and nine head of Olympiakos after the Reds were deducted three points.
PAOK slapped with 6-point deduction, 7-game stadium ban
PAOK will play seven games behind closed doors in the new season and AEK another three, while PAOK is deducted six points from the play-off mini-league (that was sealed on Wednesday) although this is largely irrelevant. This was the verdict of federation about what happened inside the Panthessaliko Stadium of Volos last month.
AEK makes the most of Panathinaikos's revenge over PAOK
An exciting twist of the last round of the play-offs saw AEK nick the top spot right at the end on Wednesday, as a depleted Panathinaikos avenged PAOK for the game controversially abandoned in Athens in mid-May and the elimination in the Cup a few weeks earlier.

PAOK is two points away from clinching the top spot of the Super League play-offs after beating Panionios in Athens on Wednesday, while second-placed AEK lost at Panathinaikos.

Suspect responsible for injuring PAOK coach Ivic identified
Panathinaikos football club have reportedly identified the fan responsible for injuring PAOK coach Ilia Ivic to the head. The PAOK coach was taken to hospital immediately to receive treatment. The culprit was found after the Panathinaikos officials examined the CCTV footage in collaboration with police and found he was in gate 10.
Sports Digest: Greens beat AEK to make series 2-1
BASKETBALL: Panathinaikos won Game 3 of the Basket League semifinal series beating AEK 81-72 at home on Thursday, despite trailing 52-44 early in the second half. Game 4 will take place with AEK as the host on Monday.

The Super League play-offs got underway on Sunday with AEK avenging its defeat at the Cup Final beating PAOK 1-0 away, while 10-man Panathinaikos snatched a 1-1 draw at Panionios.
