Kim's sister warns N Korea ready to act against US, South
The influential sister of North Korea's leader warned Tuesday that her country is ready to take "quick, overwhelming action" against the United States and South Korea, a day after the U.S. flew a nuclear-capable B-52 bomber in a demonstration of strengthen against the North.
North and South Korea have Re-Established Hotlines
North and South Korea have re-established hotlines that were cut off by Pyongyang a few months ago this morning, Reuters reported.
Last week, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un expressed readiness to re-establish liaison lines that Pyongyang cut off in early August - just days after they opened for the first time in a year - in protest of joint US-South Korea military exercises.
