Greeks improve their standing in the Euroleague

Panathinaikos and Olympiakos are gradually improving their position on the Euroleague table, thanks also to their wins at the start of another double week.

The Greens edged out visiting Zalgiris Kaunas in Athens with a 73-71 score in a very tight game that the Lithuanians very nearly snatched away from their hosts.

Anadolu Efes advance to Turkish Airlines EuroLeague final

Anadolu Efes defeated CSKA Moscow 89-86 on May 28 to qualify for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague final at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany.

The Istanbul club used a 25-15 run in the first quarter, hitting 5/6 from the three point line.

Anadolu Efes had a 71-55 lead going into the final quarter, but CSKA managed to comeback in the final frame.

Anadolu Efes hammer Zalgiris for 7th straight win

Turkish basketball club Anadolu Efes got their seventh consecutive win in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season over the 89-62 victory against Lithuania's Zalgiris Kaunas on March 12. 

Anadolu Efes' playmaker guard Shane Larkin scored 18 points to lead his team to the Round 29 win in Istanbul. Larkin also had four steals.

Anadolu Efes beat Valencia Basket for 5th straight win

Anadolu Efes defeated Valencia Basket 99-83 on March 2 to claim their fifth consecutive win in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. 

Sertac Sanli scored 20 points and Rodrigue Beaubois added 19 for the home team at Istanbul's Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.

Micic produced 16 while Shane Larking had 15 for Anadolu Efes.

Reds end year with triumph at Khimki

Olympiakos put 105 past Khimki in Russia to end its three-game losing streak in the Euroleague, while Panathinaikos succumbed to host Red Star in Belgrade.

Facing bottom team Khimki meant Olympiakos had to win this road match on Tuesday, and it did so in style, with a 105-88 score, to score its eighth victory in 16 matches.

Anadolu Efes extend winning streak in EuroLeague

Anadolu Efes defeated Serbian side Crvena Zvezda 75-64 in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 11 game on Nov. 26. 

Playing at Belgrade's Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, Efes' Shane Larkin was the highest scorer of the game with 18 points and five assists.

Adrien Moerman finished with 17 points and nine rebounds and Krunoslav Simon added 11 points.
