Fenerbahçe wins Intercontinental Derby

Fenerbahçe continued its good run in the Turkish Süper Lig, claiming its seventh win in its last eight games by beating Galatasaray 2-0 on April 10 and climbing up to the second spot.

Miha Zajc scored the opener in the 26th minute for the home side against its archrival, while Serdar Dursun added another in the 68th minute to give Fenerbahçe three points.

Trabzonspor looks to extend league lead

Turkish Süper Lig leader Trabzonspor will be out to extend its stay atop the standings when it visits Alanyaspor on Feb. 20 for a Week 26 game.

Galatasaray get precious home win in Turkish league as archrivals lose

Galatasaray on Oct. 31 beat Gaziantep FK 2-0 in a Turkish Spor Toto Süper Lig match for a valuable victory as their archrivals Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe suffered defeats each in the same week.

The visitors were quite disciplined in defense after the kickoff in Istanbul's Nef Stadium as the Lions managed to break the deadlock just before the break.

Beşiktaş comeback to beat Galatasaray in derby

Beşiktaş completed a 2-1 comeback to topple city rivals Galatasaray on Oct 25's Istanbul derby in the Turkish Süper Lig.

Galatasaray's Romanian midfielder Alexandru Cicaldau scored the opener from outside the area in the 35th minute to give the 1-0 lead to the visitors at Vodafone Park.

But only four minutes later, Beşiktaş leveled the match.

Trabzonspor fight to earn 2-2 draw with Galatasaray at home

Trabzonspor fought hard to secure a 2-2 draw with Galatasaray in a Turkish Süper Lig showdown on Sept. 12, an upsetting result for the Lions.

Galatasaray scored the opener in the 20th minute as Turkish midfielder Emre Kılınç finished in a one-on-one position at Trabzon's Medical Park Stadium.
