ALAC - a new online platform for reporting corruption offenses

The citizens who wish to report corruption offenses have a new online platform at hand, launched on Monday by Transparency International Romania, through the Anti-Corruption Legal Aid Centre (ALAC), which is offering free of charge legal counselling to all of the citizens who are witnesses or victims to corruption offenses, including the whistleblowers.

Public Trust in Bulgarian Judiciary Remains Critically Low, Legal Barometer

Gallup International revealed the results from its regular research on the fight against corruption and the condition of the judiciary in Bulgaria, alongside the civil initiative project Legal Barometer.

The topic of the research has been Ministry of the Interior and the Judiciary System, and the leader of the civil project is former Bulgarian Educational Minister Daniel Valchev.

Pedophile arrested in Athens

A 40-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday in Athens after allegedly luring a minor into a mini van in view of sexually abusing him. According to initial reports, the suspect owns a super market on Eleftherias Square in the area of Korydallos, southeastern Attica.
