Vzglyad: Threat of new war forced Serbia to move closer to Russia
The threat of a new war in the Balkans has made Serbia move closer to Russia, the website Vzglyad is reported on Wednesday, cited by Beta.
According to the Russian website, the United States and the European Union are now "forced to admit that Russia's position in Serbia has strengthened."
Joksimovic: Opening of chapters message that Serbia is stable

Serbia opens chapters 6 and 30 in EU accession talks
Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic presented Serbia at the Seventh Intergovernmental Conference in Brussels on Monday, at which two negotiation chapters were opened: 6 - Company Law and 30 - Economic Relations with Foreign Countries.
Serbia to Open New Chapters in EU Negotiations
At an intergovernmental conference in Brussels on Monday, Serbia will open talks on Chapters 6 and 30 of the EU acquis - the body of legal rights and obligations that all EU member states must observe.
The two chapters that will be negotiated between Brussels and Belgrade concern company law and external economic relations.

Svilanovic: We can be satisfied with number of chapters opened
BELGRADE - Serbia has reasons to be satisfied with the number of chapters it has opened in the EU accession talks and to have great expectations for next year, says Regional Cooperation Council Secretary-General Goran Svilanovic.
"EU invested 3bn, EIB 5bn in Serbia over 15 years"
The European Investment Bank has invested EUR 5 billion.
EU Delegation to Serbia chief Sem Fabrizi said at an Investing in the European Future of the Western Balkans conference on Dec. 8 that EUR 200 million had been invested a year since the beginning of the negotiating process, or EUR 3 billion over 15 years.

EU to open Chapters 6, 30 with Serbia on Monday
BRUSSELS - Serbia will open two new chapters in its EU accession talks at an intergovernmental conference in Brussels on Monday, December 11.
The final decision to open Chapters 6 (company law) and 30 (external relations) was made by the 28 EU member states without debate at a meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives(COREPER) at ambassadorial level.
