Renowned Greek artist and Athens School of Fine Arts professor Pavlos Samios will present a short film and discuss the composition, scale, colors and techniques used in the frieze of the Parthenon temple on the ancient Acropolis at the Rubin Museum of Art in New York on Thursday.

BBC's spy miniseries completes filming in Greece

Britain's Labour Party leader calls for Marbles' return to Greece
The leader of Britain's Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, has called for the return of the Parthenon Marbles, currently housed in the British Museum, to Greece.
In an interview with Greek newspaper Ta Nea, Corbyn stressed that the sculptures "belong" in Greece.

UNESCO committee discusses Parthenon Sculptures in Paris
A UNESCO committee for the return of cultural property "recognized for the first time the historical, cultural, legal and ethical aspects of the return by Britain of the Parthenon Sculptures to Greece," the Ministry of Culture said on Thursday.
