New property transfer platform launched

The much-touted "digital property transfer file," through which the Ministry of Digital Governance promises purchases and sales in 24 hours, was launched on Wednesday.

However, questions have been raised as to why authorities chose to create a new platform instead of upgrading an already existing one with which notaries submit digital contracts.

A 19-year-old man was arrested on Friday over his participation in an attack earlier in the day at a notary's office in the downtown Athens district of Exarchia carried out by members of the self-styled anarchist Rouvikonas.

The attackers smashed windows and equipment in the office and scattered flyers on their way out of the building.
