Sam Neill reveals cancer diagnosis
Actor Sam Neill has revealed he is being treated for stage-three blood cancer, writing in a memoir that he was "possibly dying" from the illness diagnosed a year ago.
The New Zealander, who burst to fame after starring as Dr Alan Grant in the 1993 blockbuster "Jurassic Park", said he began treatment last March for non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Bilginer, Moss to be seen in FX-thriller ‘The Veil’
The U.S. television channel FX has produced a TV series for the first time in Türkiye, starring Golden Globe-winning U.S. actress Elisabeth Moss as veteran Turkish actor Haluk Bilginer will also be seen in the series.
Tom Hanks declared the worst at the Razzie Awards
Tom Hanks is an elite double-Oscar-winning actor, but on March 11 he received two more prizes from an award show that no movie star wants on their CV, the Razzies, which recognize the worst films and performances each year.
Razzies voters declared Hanks' role as Elvis Presley's manager in rock 'n' roll biopic "Elvis" the year's most awful performance by a supporting actor.

Istanbul Film Festival Honorary Awards announced
The recipients of the Cinema Honorary Award of the 42nd Istanbul Film Festival, which will be held between April 7 and 18, have been announced.
The Cinema Honorary Awards, presented by the festival to names who made an effort for cinema, will be given to two master cinema and theater actors, Kayhan Yıldızoğlu and Nevra Serezli this year.

Baldwin faces charge in ‘Rust’ fatal shooting
Prosecutors linked Alec Baldwin to an expansive list of alleged failures in firearms safety as they filed a felony involuntary manslaughter charge on Jan. 31 against the actor in the fatal shooting of a cinematographer on a New Mexico movie set.

Academy launches probe after indie film’s surprise Oscars nod
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said on Jan. 27 it was launching a review of Oscars campaigning, days after a small indie film surprised industry-watchers with a shock nomination to Hollywood's most prestigious awards.
"To Leslie" had taken just $27,000 at the box office when star Andrea Riseborough's name appeared on the shortlist of nominees for Best Actress.

Western movie "Rust" will continue filming with Alec Baldwin in the lead role, a lawyer for the production said on Jan. 23, days after prosecutors said they would charge the actor in the fatal shooting of the movie's cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
