Bodies of Russian officers sent back home with ceremony
The bodies of five crew members of Russian nationality, who lost their lives in a plane crash during an aerial firefighting operation in the southeastern province of Kahramanmaraş, were delivered to their countries with a ceremony on Aug. 16.

Fault line becomes home for sea creatures
A fault line formed on the coast of Hatay's Arsuz district due to a magnitude 6.2 earthquake shaking Adana's Ceyhan district in 1998 has become the home of sea creatures.
The fault line, which is approximately a kilometer long, acts as a natural reef 13 to 18 meters below the sea and 15 to 20 meters from the coast.

Nearly 5,000 cultural assets returned to Turkey in last 18 years
A total of 4,862 cultural assets were returned to Turkey between 2003 and 2021, according to data given by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Authorities continue to work in coordination with relevant institutions in order to prevent cultural property smuggling and bring back Turkish origin artifacts found abroad.

Int’l Adana Theater Festival kicks off
The 22nd Sabancı International Adana Theater Festival, organized in collaboration with the State Theaters (DT) and the Sabancı Foundation, kicked off on May 24.
Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy attended the festival's opening held at the Central Park Amphitheater, with a previously recorded video message, thanking everyone who contributed to the festival organization.

Sabancı Int’l Adana Theater Festival to open curtains
The State Theaters-Sabancı International Adana Theater Festival, organized in collaboration with the State Theaters (DT) and the Sabancı Foundation, will meet the audience in its 22nd year.
Turkey's longest-running theater festival will start on May 24 and end on June 21.
