US Confirms Backing for Croatia's LNG Terminal
The US has again declared its strong support for Croatia's planned project to build a floating terminal to receive liquefied natural gas, LNG, on the island of Krk.
The project will help to diversify the gas supply in the country and in the region - currently largely dependent on Russia.

LNG Croatia, the state company responsible for constructing a planned gas terminal on the island of Krk on the northern Croatian coast, on Tuesday opened a tender for potential investors.
The planned terminal will receive, store and re-gasify liquefied natural gas, LNG.
