Crest resembling Great Wall to be promoted
In a bid to promote tourism in the region, efforts will be made to bring public attention on a global scale to the Central Anatolian province of Sivas' Diş Cliffs, commonly referred to as the "natural Great Wall of China."
Diş Cliffs are an important geological landform that has not been discovered by many, Sivas Governor Yılmaz Şimşek told local media during a visit to the region.

Paraglider flies with bike over Pamukkale
A professional tandem paraglider recently flew over the white thermal pools of the southwestern Pamukkale region with a motorcycle he tied to his parachute.
Hasan Kaval, who took off by riding the motorcycle attached to the parachute, recorded his flight with an action camera over the travertines for 20 minutes and landed in the Kocaçukur region.

Trbovlje chimney turned into longest climbing route
Trbovlje – The Trbovlje power station’s 360-metre chimney, the tallest in Europe but no longer in use, has been turned into the world’s longest artificial multi-pitch climbing route. Slovenian world-class climbers, Janja Garnbret and Domen Škofic, have already successfully ascended it.
One hiker found dead on Cretan mountain
One of two hikers who had been trapped by snow and ice since Wednesday while trekking on Psiloritis Mountain in central Crete was found dead by members of the Special Disaster Unit (EMAK) rescue team on Thursday.
The two young hikers, aged 18 and 20, started their hike on Wednesday morning, state-run news agency ANA-MPA reported.
