Google to enable publishers to charge users with ad blockers
A new Google tool will let website publishers charge visitors using ad blockers for removing the ads, or force them to turn off their ad blockers and view the ads. The feature is said to be designed to help publishers who fear for their slumping ad revenue.

Google and Facebook control one-fifth of global ad revenue
Silicon Valley internet giants Google and Facebook have raked in over $100 billion in global advertising spending, a recent report says.
The two companies have grown their share of global ad revenue from about a tenth in 2012 to a fifth in 2016, according to an annual ranking presented by data and analysis agency Zenith.

Google unveils tools to prevent ads alongside undesirable content
Google, which has seen a slew of companies withdraw ads after they appeared alongside extremist content, said on March 21 it was introducing new tools to give firms greater control.
"We know advertisers don't want their ads next to content that doesn't align with their values," Google's chief business officer Philipp Schindler said in a post on the internet giant's blog.
Election Campaign Starts in Bulgaria
The official election campaign for the snap parliamentary elections started on Friday. It will continue until 24:00 hrs on March 24 after which all campaigning will be banned until the end of the election day on March 26.
There are 20 parties and coalitions which registered candidates lists. According to preliminary information, there are 4,732 candidates for parliamentary deputies.

Apple chose a Greek village for the filming of one of its advertisements for the iPhone7 Plus.
The village by the sea demonstrates the ‘Portrait Mode’ one can find exclusively in the iPhone7 Plus.
The title of the advertisement is “Take Mine” and was released on January 7th with approximately 2 million views so far.
