Greek survey finds 1 in 5 internet users favor ad blockers
Almost one in five internet users in Greece, mostly men with desktop computers, utilize ad blocking tools, according to a survey by TailWind.
The first Greek survey on the phenomenon showed that 19.6 percent of users employ an ad blocker, with the majority of them men aged between 18 and 34 years of age and with a high educational level.

Santorini promoted as a year-round round destination
An online campaign has been started titled, “Santorini, year-round destination”, and will run for three weeks in an effort to draw more people to the island from countries such as the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Austraia, Scandinavia, etc. The advertising campaign will focus on some of the most popular travel sites such as tripadvisor, lonelyplanet, expedia, airbnb and others.
Drug Plug Ban Angers Romanian Advertisers
Romanian advertising companies risks losing over 50 million euro from expected earnings if drug companies are not allowed to advertise on TV and radio any longer.
The figures come from the International Advertising Association Romania, IAA.
The IAA on Wednesday protested against a new law that bans explicit ads for over-the-counter medicines.

Macedonia Halts Controversial Ad Campaigns
Macedonia's embattled government is putting on hold its controversial advertising campaign, which critics call a tool to control and reward favoured media.
Among the campaigns put on hold are "Say No to Drugs," "Smoking Kills," "Eat Healthily," "Educate Yourself", "Have a Third Child," "Read Books," "Invest in Macedonia, and "Explore Macedonia, You are Macedonia."
