Australia’s most wanted criminal caught in Bodrum
Masood Zakaria, one of the top figures in the Alameddine crime network, which has been waging a blood-soaked war on Sydney's streets since 2020 and described as the "most wanted man in Australia," has been caught in the Aegean province of Muğla's Bodrum district.

Island put on sale for 220 million liras
The Rabbit Island, off the Türkbükü and Gündoğan regions of the Aegean province of Muğla's Bodrum district, has been put up for sale online for 220.2 million Turkish Liras ($11.8 million).
The sale advertisement of the island located 16 miles away from Bodrum was published on an online real estate platform with the title "Island for sale in the magnificent bay of Gündoğan."

Ancient tumulus to bring in tourism

113 migrants pushed back by Greece rescued
Some 113 immigrants pushed into Turkish territorial waters by Greek authorities have been rescued off the Aegean province of İzmir.
Turkish Coast Guard Command teams were dispatched to the regions upon the information that there were immigrants in life rafts off İzmir's Dikili, Seferihisar and Çeşme districts at different times on Jan. 1 and 2.

Over 100 irregular migrants held off İzmir

Istanbul, Thessaloniki to be on Bodrum Cup’s route in 2023
The route of the Bodrum Cup will be Istanbul-Thessaloniki-Bodrum next year, the event's organizer has announced.
"We are proud to have provided benefits to our country and society with all the events, projects, studies and valuable collaborations we have established," Süleyman Uysal said.
