31 Bulgarians have expressed their desire to Evacuate from Sudan
At the moment, 31 Bulgarian citizens have expressed their desire to evacuate from Sudan. This was said at an extraordinary briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and spokesperson of the department, Kostadin Kojabashev. A 24/7 connection is maintained with them, he added.
Five more Greeks evacuated from Sudan
The Greek Foreign Ministry has announced that an Italian military aircraft has evacuated five more Greeks from Sudan, bringing the total number of Greek evacuees to 23.
According to the ministry, they have been safely transported to Djibouti.

39 bodies dug up in cult investigation of pastor in Kenya
Thirty-nine bodies have been found so far on land owned by a pastor in coastal Kenya who was arrested for telling his followers to fast to death.

Sudan's warring forces battled Friday with heavy gunfire and explosions in the capital Khartoum and elsewhere in the country, as they ignored appeals by world powers for an end-of-Ramadan ceasefire.
The end: Ceasefire entered into force
According to reports, the ceasefire came into effect today at 6 a.m. local time and coincides with the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Fitr, reports Reuters.
"The truce coincides with the blessed Eid al-Fitr... in order to open humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of citizens and give them the opportunity to greet their families," Rapid Support Force said in a statement.
