Few Foreign Observers to Monitor Serbian Elections

Serbia's Republic Electoral Commission told BIRN that so far it has granted 17 foreign organisations permission to monitor the presidential elections on April 2 - but crucially, the number of poll observers from the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, OSCE, will be far fewer than at previous ballots.

German tourists “vote” Greece, turning back on Turkey

German tourists are turning their backs on Turkey as a holiday destination in droves, according to data published by the “Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung” (GfK), Germany’s largest market research institute. Bookings by Germans for Turkish resorts for 2017 had declined by 58% by the end of January.
