Oral business English classes at Deree
Deree, the School of Graduate and Professional Education of The American College of Greece, has announced it is offering a three-month course in oral business English every Friday from 6.30 to 9.30 p.m. from March 13.
The course ends on June 5.
The course will be hosted at 6 Gravias Street in Agia Paraskevi, northeastern Athens.

Police officer accused of armed robberies remanded
A police officer who was arrested last week on charges of committing at least 11 robberies was remanded in custody on Monday after appearing before a prosecutor and investigative magistrate.
The 29-year-old suspect is accused of robbing eight gas stations and kiosks in the Athens areas of Agia Paraskevi, Halandri and Ilioupoli since November last year.

An officer from the police force's DIAS motorcycle-riding unit in northeastern Attica was charged with multiple robberies and violating gun laws over his alleged involvement in a total of 11 holdups in the past three months, it emerged Friday.

Crooked cop arrested in Athens
Police in the northern Athens suburb of Agia Paraskevi arrested a 29-year-old colleague after he allegedly carried out two armed robberies, one at a gas station in the western suburb of Peristeri and the other at a kiosk in Galatsi, near central Athens, making off with 690 euros.

This is a specialist diploma by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).

Terror suspects had been planning bank raid
Three terror suspects who were arrested on Wednesday are believed by police to have been planning a robbery, probably on a bank.
The arrests were hailed by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis as a "great success."

PM congratulates counterterrorism unit for arrests
Greek Premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis congratulated the country's counterterrorism unit for the arrests made during a raid in an Athens suburb on Wednesday.
"I would like to congratulate the leadership and staff of the counterterrorism unit for yet another great success. Every victory in the fight against terrorism is also a victory for our democracy," he said in a tweet.

Three arrested in counterterrorism operation in Athens
Three people were arrested in an ongoing counterterrorism operation in northern Athens on Wednesday, a police spokesman said Thursday.
Nine detained over torched cars in central Athens
Nine people were detained on Thursday following a fourth day in a row of arson attacks on cars in central Athens.
According to the police and fire service, four cars were torched at 3.40 a.m. on Karachristou Street, in the district of Kolonaki, three of which were completely destroyed and the fourth was seriously damaged.
Firemen were called in to put out the blaze.
