Greece taken to EU Court over air pollution
The Commission today referred Greece to the Supreme Court of the European Union due to the poor air quality because of the high levels of nitrogen dioxide (NO2). The announcement should not have surprised the Greek government, given that the relevant decision (which also concerned Bulgaria, for the same reason) had been taken and made public by the EU institution since last December.

European Court of Justice: Bulgaria Breaches Air Pollution Limits
Europe's highest court on Wednesday said Bulgaria had breached limits for hazardous air pollutants, a ruling environmental groups said would help in their efforts to force countries to take action over poor air quality.
Report warns of air pollution for Antalya
A report from the city council of the southern province of Antalya on air quality has revealed that air pollution in the city exceeds both national and the European Union limit values.
The Antalya City Council prepared a report titled "The Status and Recommendations of Air Quality in Antalya," based on measurements taken between 2008 and 2015, Doğan News Agency reported on March 12.
