Lufthansa flight to Dubai makes emergency landing in Rhodes
A Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt to Dubai has been diverted to Rhodes where it landed just before 6 p.m. Monday.
The A330 plane's approach sounded the alarm to the local Fire Service, as there was information of smoke inside the plane, toward the back.
Air China capacity on Athens-Beijing route soars 128% year-on-year

Air France, Airbus face trial over 2009 Rio-Paris disaster
Air France and aircraft maker Airbus go on trial in Paris today on charges of involuntary manslaughter in the 2009 crash of a flight from Brazil, killing all 228 people aboard.
The case focuses on alleged insufficient pilot training and a defective speed monitoring probe, which was quickly replaced on planes worldwide in the months after the accident.
Direct Flights between Albania and Bulgaria start on August 1
Direct weekly flights between Albania and Bulgaria are starting as of 1 August. By 28 August an assessment will be made whether the lines can be maintained all the year round, including towards other destinations.
Another Air Serbia plane flew to China for help
The first Serbian national airline to fly to China, the Airbus A330, is already returning from that country and bringing in doctors and medical help. The plane arrives in Serbia at 7.30 pm.

First Beijing-Athens direct flight lands at El. Venizelos airport
The first direct Air China flight between Athens and Beijing landed at Athens International Airport on Saturday morning. The Air China Airbus A330-200 had more than 200 passengers on board, including the Greek premier's wife.
Flights from Beijing to Belgrade restored
BELGRADE - Flights from Beijing to Belgrade were on Friday restored after 17 years as Serbian PM Ana Brnabic welcomed a Hainan Airlines Airbus A330-300 at the Nikola Tesla Airport.
"It is fantastic to see the results of hard work and this is why people consent to invest their whole lives in the work of the government," she told reporters.

First plane on new Beijing-Belgrade route lands
The first plane on the newly-established Beijing-Belgrade route on Friday landed at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla International Airport.
The Hainan Airlines Airbus A330-300 was welcomed by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic and Chinese Ambassador Li Manchang, as well and representatives of the Chinese carrier.

Airplane lands after bomb threat in Kuwait
A Germany-bound plane from Oman has landed in Kuwait after a bomb threat.
The state-run KUNA news agency said the plane set off from the Omani city of Salalah and was bound for Cologne.
KUNA said some 299 people were evacuated on landing as authorities searching the aircraft.
