National flag carrier Turkish Airlines will launch service to Xi'an, northwestern China at the end of the year to mark its 20th anniversary of operations in China.
About 1,300 Flights Were Canceled due to a Lufthansa Strike
About 1,300 flights and 180,000 passengers will be affected by the two-day strike, which was formally started by the cabin crew at German Lufthansa. Most of its flights from Germany, including intercontinental flights from Frankfurt and Munich, were canceled, NOVA reported.
Emirates to hold Open Day in Athens
Dubai-based airline Emirates is holding an Open Day in Athens on Thursday to cover vacancies in its cabin crews.
The event, which starts at 9 a.m., will take place at the Athenaeum InterContinental hotel.
Potential applicants must be at least 21 years old and are invited to register on the Emirates website.

A Strike in Lufthansa Blocks Flights to and from Germany
The passengers traveling with leading German carrier Lufthansa will be hit by cabin crew strike this week, AFP reported.
The German Union has called on the Lufthansa crew to launch a strike from Tuesday to Friday for better working conditions and better pay.

Two dead as training aircraft crashes in occupied north of Cyprus
Turkish Cypriot police say two 46-year-old men have been killed after their small, fixed-wing training aircraft crashed at an airport in the Turkish-occupied north of Cyprus.
Police said the aircraft crashed shortly after noon Tuesday near the terminal at Gecitkale airport, also known in Greek as Lefkoniko, while on a training flight.
